Dudmoor Garden Cottage is one-level living at its best. Simple, spacious and self-contained. Recently redecorated throughout in simple neutral tones, the cottage has a lovely open plan sitting/dining room with two large comfy sofas and a dining table to seat 4. The kitchen is well kitted out with double oven, fridge/freezer and hob; ready for any self catering you want to do. We provide a pint of milk on arrival and tea bags, ground coffee and sugar during your stay. There are also some basic essentials available such as salt, pepper, olive oil, and cleaning products.

The master bedroom has a King size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The second bedroom can either be made up as a Twin room with two single beds or with one Super-King size bed (please specify at point of booking). It also has a wardrobe to store your clothes during your stay. Both rooms can accommodate a travel cot for infants. The bathroom has a bath and a generous shower so you can enjoy a long soak at the end of the day or a revitalizing shower first thing in the morning using the ‘Faith in Nature’ products available during your stay.

Travelling with kids can be stressful and we know from experience that ‘packing-light’ never seems to be possible; so why don’t you ask us about some of the baby and kids equipment we have available so you don’t need to bring everything with you!

We can provide breakfast hampers or a home cooked evening meal on arrival if required at an additional cost. Message us at point of booking to inquire; we can cater for all types of dietary requirements and allergies.

During your stay you will have access to the entire cottage and you can come and go as you please with ample space to park your cars on the driveway. The Cottage does not have its own garden or lawn. It does have its own seating area with a coal BBQ where you can enjoy drinks in the sunshine and there are plenty of lovely walks around the village to enjoy if you want to stretch your legs. The Cottage is set away from the road and within the garden of the main house so it benefits from a lovely leafy, secluded setting. We welcome well-behaved dogs to the property and would ask you to ensure that they are kept off the carpeted areas and furniture. We would also expect you to be very attentive when cleaning up after them; we often have young children in the garden we cannot have any mess left behind.

As the Cottage and main House can be rented out as two separate units please bear in mind that you may be sharing the driveway with other guests. The two properties are at right angles to each other and co-exist very happily giving privacy to each household but it is something to be aware of.
